Hello everyone!!
Today I’m coming with one of my fav. combination of flavours: Chocolate and Peanut Butter.
How does it sound?
Those of you who have followed me for a long time know that I cook many things with this combination of flavours but with a completely different and unique texture and format.
In this case I have prepared something very improvised, simple and easy to do.
And I called it Vegan Chocolate and Peanut Butter Squares.
They have a similar texture to brownies but much more tender and juicy.

INGREDIENTS
For the chocolate layer:
250 g dates boneless
300 g almond flour
150 g dark chocolate
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of salt
6 tablespoons coconut oil
150 ml of vegetable milk of your choice
For the peanut butter layer:
250 g peanut butter
2 cans of coconut milk
1 pinch of salt
1/2 spoon stevia
8g agar agar
INSTRUCTIONS
For the chocolate layer:
- Clean the dates.
- Warm the vegetable milk.
- Soak the dates together with the vegetable milk for at least a couple of hours.
- After this time, in a food processor blend the dates, the vegetable milk, the vanilla, the cinnamon, the pinch of salt and the coconut oil until getting a homogeneous and smooth mixture.
- Pour the mixture in a bowl helping yourself with a spatula.
- Melt the dark chocolate and add it to the mixture.
- Add the almond flour and combine everything.
- Once the dough is ready, pour it in a rectangular form, preferably silicone, and set it in the fridge.
For the peanut butter layer:
- In a food processor blend all the ingredients for the peanut butter layer.
- Pour the dough into a pot and heat stirring constantly.
- When it reaches the boiling point, turn off the heat and pour the liquid over the previous chocolate layer.
- Let it rest in the fridge overnight or at least 5 hours.
- Serve it cut into squares and decorate to your liking.
